Corduroy Jumpsuit

To know me is to know that I have this slight obsession with the 1970s. The music, the fashion, the hair, the entire vibe. I honestly feel that if I was born back then, I would’ve been LIVING. I recently went to Forever 21 and they had an entire section dedicated to 70s style. I wish I could’ve bought everything but I brought myself back down to reality and only made a few purchases. But, doing that inspired me to actually dedicate this week to sharing my take on 70s fashion with a modern twist, as the more I looked in my closet, the more I realized I had items that were very reminiscent of those times. And this Fall season seems to be heavily inspired by that era as well!

I paired it with this white trimmed v-neck tee that is on the road to becoming one of the most worn pieces in my closet (If it’s a little colder where you are, you can pair the corduroy jumpsuit with a light turtleneck sweater and a pair of white ankle boots). I feel like my hair honestly completes the whole look and is giving Donna Summer/ Farrah Fawcett vibes.I’m excited to get back into the groove of things here on the blog. I mentioned on Instagram how I needed to take some time away so I could focus on getting my life/finances together. Blogging costs money. And money was something that has unfortunately been an issue ever since my mom passed. So while I was a little sad that I couldn’t devote my resources to creating content, I knew that getting situated was my biggest priority, and now I can gladly set aside money for blog related things without feeling like other things will have to suffer. I’ll probably talk more about this in another Journey to Financial Freedom post, but in the meantime, we are going to get into these looks!

Until next time…
