I feel as though my style has been evolving the past couple of months. I never thought I would wear an outfit like this. Yet here I am, putting this in my top 10 of favorite outfits I’ve ever worn. Yea, that real.
Can we talk about Who What Wear’s new collection though! No, this post is not sponsored. I did get this skirt as part of a gifting suite, but that is in no way swaying my opinion. I picked up this Who What Wear Paneled Swing skirt at their end of summer gifting suite. But when I first initially saw it on their IG, I didn’t like it. I immediately thought that green, black, and brown was a horrible combination. Fast forward to the suite, I kept looking at it and I decided to hold onto it until I “checked out”. Once I was in front of the lady who was checking everyone out, I decided to keep the skirt because of how different it was from anything I have in my closet. I had a feeling that perhaps I would grow to like it. And I was right!I tried it on once I got home (I have this habit of not trying on things in the store because, lazy) and was pleased to see how nicely it fell on my body. Decided to go the semi casual route for this look since we are transitioning from summer to Fall. I knew I wanted to pair it with a tee and found this Hogwarts graphic one in my sisters closet. It was a perfect complement! A literal match made in outfit heaven. I completed the look with a floral purse from their Spring collection (sold out) and a pair of minimal heels.
What I love about this skirt is that it can easily be transitioned into a more dressed up look. Swap the tee for a sheer long sleeve blouse (with added ruffles for some extra flair). Switch the purse for something more classic like a quilted pattern black shoulder bag. I would keep the heels can stay as is, or swap for a minimal pump. If you’re really feeling daring (and if the weather permits), you can pair the look with OTK pointed toe suede boots.
