As a blogger, sometimes I feel that every single post has to include a different piece of clothing. And then I realized, that’s literally IMPOSSIBLE. Well, unless you’re very wealthy, then not so impossible, but again, grad student budget. I have a couple of goals for this blog, but one of them is to show my followers and readers that you can style key pieces in different ways.
Such as this white top and skirt. Both have been worn on this blog before (I’ll link those outfit posts below). The white button up is basically a staple. If you don’t have it, I STRONGLY encourage you to go buy one. The white skirt is not necessarily a staple BUT white skirts always look clean and crisp to me. Whether you opt for a flare one like I have here or a fitted one, it really makes an outfit look put together (this is my personal opinion)
I think that’s the beauty of blogging, and clothes in general. You don’t buy items just to wear them once…like, where’s the fun in that?? (no shade if you do…)
I always do the math in my head. If a jacket costs me $50 and I wear it about 25 times…that means I technically paid a $2 for each time I wore it…that sounds much better than $50 haha
H&M Collared Top (worn here) & Embossed Skirt (love this; worn here), GoJane Sandals, Necklace (Gifted)
