It’s so funny how things come full circle. Situations, people, clothing trends. The last time I owned a denim skirt was a decade ago. And I thought I was the hottest thing walking. With my air force ones and air brushed off the shoulder tee. No one could tell me NOTHING! Lol. And then, the denim skirts disappeared from fashion existence.

But nothing is new under the sun so for us 90s babies, the denim skirt is a piece of nostalgia that takes us back to the days when life was a bit simpler: when we didn’t worry about bills or what career we wanted. Our focus was just on enjoying our youth. I feel that the denim skirt has come back with a vengeance, a more stylish vengeance.

To that point, that’s how I view things in life. Some people come into your life for a season, and then they are gone. But before you know, others will come into your life and bring about something much better than you could’ve imagine. Same with life situations. It may seem like the end of the world when something doesn’t work out the way you imagined, but before you know it, another situation will come along that will be much more enjoyable than the one that preceded it.

So let that knowledge keep you going and keep you motivated.
