Hey Everyone!

For the 2nd look of the V-Day series, I wanted to go traditional with a flowy red dress look that is sure to STUN. I wore this outfit to a gala that the graduate women business club I’m a member of hosted, titled the “Red Dress Benefit Gala”. I was the Chairperson for the event this year and it turned out to be a success!

I really liked this dress when I saw it at H&M for their Christmas collection, and knew that with a minor alteration, it would be perfect for the event. The slip underneath was a bit unflattering to the style of the dress so I went to my local dry cleaners and had it hemmed just a tad. I’m really loving the sheer/lace detailing. Unfortunately, I can’t find this style on the H&M site, but I’ve linked similar thigh split dress options below.

This look can definitely be worn for a date night, gala, show, anything that requires for your fancy levels to be on 100! I paired the look with Zara color block heels in red/gold and gold accessories.
