Black Owned Businesses to Shop This Holiday Season

this post has been updated as of November 2024

In the past I’ve shared my favorite Black women and WOC Owned Jewelry brands and my favorite Nigerian clothing brands. So as we begin our holiday shopping this year, I put together a list of small Black owned businesses to support and shop this holiday season!

Style/Apparel

Made for Queens, LLC: Established to cater to women from ALL backgrounds who aspire to add that touch of culture and style to their daily outfits whether casually or professionally. The goal is to empower any woman that wears their pieces by making them feel like the Queen that they are and being stylish in their true self.

Homage Year: If you’re looking for a handbag that will turn heads and have people asking “where did you get that from??” then you’ll love Homage Year’s signature crescent shaped bags, produced in different colorways and materials. Each bag has a different meaning and poem attached as well. We love an intentional shopping experience.

Bond and Seek: A Christian faith based loungewear line that sells sweaters, sweatpants, tote bags, t-shirts and more. The items look so comfy and is a great way to always keep God front and center in your daily life.

Kendall Miles:  A luxury shoe brand with their signature feather mules that all of the fashion girlies have. KM offers a range of heels, boots, and sneakers for whatever vibe you are going for!

Vluxe Vault: A luxury accessories brand focused on sourcing vintage & timeless pieces that can be incorporated into your wardrobe in every way!

Doves of Dawn: A scarf wear brand offering quality scarves at an attainable price point that can be worn in many different ways (and also size inclusive!). I own 2 of their scarves and have styled it like a top here!

Symbols of Authority: Jewelry inspired by antiquity, art & ancient monarchies.

EDAS: A luxury handbag and accessory brand with fine leather goods, including this mini belt bag.

Oma The Label: A jewelry and apparel brand selling unique fashion pieces and gold plated jewelry, like this Lucite earring with gold detailing.

LeliaMae: This is one of my favorite jewelry brands and I own a number of their pieces. They specialize in gold plated pieces and reworking vintage luxury pendants and giving them an updated and chic feel.

J. Butler Golf: Golf apparel can be pricey (in addition to the expenses already associated with the sport) so this brand is focused on providing quality golf clothing essentials at a fraction of the costs for the men in your life.

V.Bellan: A jewelry and apparel brand that has a focus on gender neutral pieces so you can find something for everybody on your list (or for yourself)

Beauty

Hair for the Girls: This is a kinky hair extension brand founded by blogger, Yvette and model, Lindsey. They sell ponytail extensions, wefts, and clip ins, and can also make custom wigs on request. I am wearing the 18in kinks for the girls ponytail in these photos.

Embrace Makeup: This is perfect for the person who may be a makeup novice who needs a brush set that can do it all!

Kreyol Essence: This Haitian owned brand provides quality skincare products including body creams and their famous castor oil.

The Cozi Cub: Nayamka is the beauty and brand behind The Cozi Club and the driving force behind the viral “60 sec cleansing routine”. She created a beauty brand focused on skincare essentials such as arms cuffs that catch water while you’re washing your face so it doesn’t spill on the ground…GENIUS!

Fairy Glow Co: Bodycare brand featuring body butters, oils, and African net sponges for the best exfoliation while you shower

My Sunday to Sunday: Hair care brand focused on scalp wellness (which is the most important part of hair care maintenance) with products including a daily scalp serum to combat a dry scalp.

Naturally by Nai: Shea butter is a literal God send to our kin and this Etsy shop sells a variety of different scented options along with raw unrefined shea butter, the purest of the pure!

Arome: Body skincare focused brand with one of the best body butters I have ever tried!

Deon Libra: A bodycare brand focused on utilizing adaptogens to enhance beauty from the inside out and help reduce overall stress. The Skin Duo is part of their core collection and a best seller!

Food/Drink

Blk & Bold: A coffee and tea brand that offers a wide range of coffee roats and tea options, with a subscription based service for those who always need their daily pick me up!

McBride Sisters Winery: Yep, a black and woman owned wine brand! We absolutely love to see it and I’ve heard and seen nothing but good reviews on their products.

Lucky Girl Rosé: This refreshing rosé comes from Black Owned winery Casa Locé in Ojai, CA. It’s low cal and no sugar so you can indulge all season, guilt free!

VirginiaDella’s Tea: A loose leaf tea brand started by two sisters to honor their late grandmother and her penchant for tea making.

Lifestyle/Wellness

Dabira Aroma: Ah yes, another candle brand! This shop also offers custom orders and currently has a holiday gift set perfect for that candle lover in your life (we all have one!)

Brown Girl Jane: A wellness brand that sells candles, skincare and CBD drops for daily use, including their Dawn Perfume that has 5 star reviews across the board.

Golde: Golde went viral for their Pure Matcha but has since grown to include a variety of wellness based products, including face masks and collagen boosters.

Noure Essentials: Yep, another candle brand! This brand has created amazing scents including scents that highlight Beyonce’s acclaimed Renaissance album, like Cozy and Alien Superstar!

Cloth and Paper: If you’re a super planner and love to keep a planner on hand, then this brand is for you! From planning sheets to a subscription box, you’re bound (get it) to find something you love!

Uplift by Jibby: If you’re looking to jumpstart your fitness journey and are needing some help, the Uplift App is for you! With step by step training, meal plans, and a community of women, you’ll be on your way to achieving your fitness goals in no time.

I hope that this list encourage you to shop small this season. I know that the support will be immensely appreciated by these business owners. And don’t forget, I am also a brand and a business, so by you reading this post, commenting, sharing, and engaging on my socials, you are continuing to support me in my efforts to provide quality content. Thank you for all your support this year!

Until next time…
