With blogging, location can be a big factor when shooting. Now, although I do agree to some extent that a nice location can make pics stand out, I also like to think that an unusual location can make an outfit stand out even more. I’m still exploring parts of DC and when taking these pics, my friend and I stumbled on three different alleyways. In my mind, the alley matched perfect with my outfit, and contrasted the girlieness of this floral bomber.Let’s talk about these pointed toe metallic flats from Forever 21 real quick…because YAASSSS! I know, they are pretty shiny but that’s the best part about it! I love statement flats. If you’re not into heels or you need a break from your heels, then a statement flat is going to be your best friend. Forever 21 has a wide range of very cute and affordable ones also! I’ve noticed myself reaching for my flats more often these days, mainly because of school, but even on weekends, I’m gravitating towards the comfiness of a loafer or a ballet flat.
 Leather is definitely a fall staple, and since it’s still a little on the warmer side, a leather mini seemed the right way to go. I enjoy pairing above the knee skirts with a cute flat. I added a basic tank and this H&M floral bomber to complete the look.
