We don’t give the white tee enough credit. Although it is great for those super casual days when you aren’t really sure of what to wear, you can also play it up with your more fancier outfits. Today’s post is all about my 4 key tips on dressing up the white tee and how you can maximize this staple.

Opt for a tee that has character

This one I’m wearing is a purchase from Zara from a little while ago. The wording with the definition written out definitely leveled up this basic white tee. So while you can have your white v-neck in stow, don’t be shy in looking for the white tee that is a stray away from the norm.

Wear with heels

A white tee with flats or sneakers is pretty much the standard of how one would wear it. So when I want to elevate my outfit, I always opt for a high heel (3in and above). Even better is a heel that isn’t so traditional.

Pair it with a midi skirt

Midi skirts will forever be a fave in my closet. I can never get enough of them and love the way they accentuate any body type. A midi skirt also adds this level of sophistication to any look, so when paired with a white tee, you can expect the same results.

Accessorize, Accessorize, Accessorize!

Now’s the time to be extra. You can get away with wearing every accessory because the tee is already so casual, so your fit won’t look overdone or anything like that. Statement earrings & necklaces, wide brim hats, sunnies, and a non traditional bag are perfect ways to add some oomph to your look.
