As much as I enjoy getting all glammed up, I equally enjoy dressing comfortably and feeling relaxed. Today’s post is focused on 5 key tips on how to dress comfortable and look good.
Wear something stretchy but fitted. If you want to reach max comfort, something with max stretch is always the way to go. In this case, I went with a pair of biker shorts that I snagged from Target for $7 back in May. These shorts are perfect because for the comfortable chic look because they hug my curves just right while still allowing me to move freely as I wish. These shorts have also survived numerous washes so I would say, a good investment!
Throw on a blazer to add some structure. A blazer can do wonders for an outfit, especially when you need something to look a little more put together. Rolling up the sleeves to your elbows adds a level of chic vs. keeping them down. For added cool, you can either go with an oversized blazer, or something more bold in color.
Bust out your favorite white tee. A white tee is a mandatory piece of clothing to have in your wardrobe because it can pretty much be paired with another and takes the legwork in thinking of what kind of top to wear. For this look, I chose this white printed tee from Asos (currently out of stock) and knotted it in the center to give an extra edge.

Wear Mules or Boots to elevate the look. My black/clear mules are my go to heels for anytime I want to be comfortable and chic. The height of the heel on these babies are perfect to adding a little extra length to my legs while the chunkiness helps to make it feel more casual. A pair of chunky heeled ankle boots could achieve this same outcome.
Wear statement accessories. A structured purse, or a pair of drop earrings are the perfect accessory to elevating your casual look. They can add just enough chic without overpowering the overall vibe you’re trying to give, which is comfortable. I went with my favorite rattan bag from Asos, and a pair of very large hoops that I scored from Topshop.
And that’s it folks! These are my 5 tips on how to dress comfortable and look good. Perfect for those days when you don’t feel like doing much, but also want to do just a little something.
Until next time…
