Happy Daylight Savings time people!

I saw a blogger post on her Insta about the benefit of DST to us fellow bloggers and that is: being able to take outfit pics past 5pm! Honestly, probably one of the main reasons why I get so excited for Spring Forward, and the fact that my day no longer feels like it’s over at 430pm.

I’m back in DC to wrap up my final 2 months in grad school and as much as I am ready to be done with my program, I also want to make sure that I take advantage of what DC has to offer. Believe it or not, I have yet to see many of the monuments here in the district (insert sad face here). Time (and the willingness to go explore) has not been in my favor these past few months, but I made a pact to myself that I will try and see these historic places.

Another thing I’m trying to do is reworking pieces that I’ve blogged before into completely different outfits. I do love shopping for new items but I have to be real with myself considering my disposable income is not how it used to be before I started school. You’ve all seen these pieces in separate blog posts but I combined them together here for what might be another fave look of mine this year thus far (amazing what some imagination can do). I love this plaid poncho and I first styled it with pants here, but decided to try with a skirt and yes funny, I’m all here for it!

Play around with your closet and start mixing and matching. Some great outfits come from just pairing things differently ;)
