Modernist

I’ve always seen pictures on Instagram of the rows of lights and always thought, “this place is a hop skip away and yet, I haven’t gone!” So the fam and I made a “trip” down to the LA County Museum of Arts, otherwise known as LACMA and it was definitely a good time. Now, I’m not going to lie and sit here and say that I am a connoisseur of art….because I am not. To be honest, old historic paintings and sculptures don’t inspire me too much. I’m more of a modernist I would say so I like things that look….new Lol. So while some of the art was ~~boring~~ nice, I was focused on finding art to take some cool photos haha. Even my sister said “this family sure does love taking pics!” We got it from our mom. Seriously. Of course my blog pics were going to be at the infamous row of lights, I mean what did you expect. Cliche…oh well! My favorite pic of the day (that I did not get on my camera) is this one here. I don’t even know the name of the exhibit but it’s the first thing that caught my eye when we walked outside. My outfit was pretty simple today, as it’s been for the past few outfit posts (blame the heat). You can never go wrong with all white but I wanted to mix it up and do a play on different whites. Contrasting between white and off-white/cream. I liked it! Threw on my favorite Isabel Marant inspired sandals, this red hobo shoulder bag for a pop of color and yet another black hat. Outfit…complete!
