Hey Everyone!! Hope your week is going well! This post is a little lengthy so, beware lol.

If you all did not know, I am a Christian and my faith is a HUGE part of who I am. With that said, I wanted to share a small snippet of my story. I understand that not everyone may agree with my beliefs, but this is my platform. I grew up in a Christ-centered household, went to church every Sunday, got baptized, the whole nine. When I got to college, I think being on my own and having that freedom went to my head haha. Long story short, right after graduation, I was feeling pretty convicted. That’s not to say college wasn’t fun, because it was! College allowed me to break out of my shell and embrace being me. And as a cherry on top, I gained my gworls (what I call my friends lol) and another set of sisters (my sorority).After graduating, I made a personal decision to change some of my actions. Everyday, I have to make a mental choice to cultivate and nurture my relationship with God. A mental choice to walk with God on the narrow path. I’m sharing this because as a young believer, it can get HARD! Lol I won’t even lie. God understands that I am not perfect, and He understands that sometimes I may slip and is there with wide stretched arms when I repent. And this unending grace pushes me to be the best Seyi I can be and stand my ground when faced with temptation. Each day, my faith grows stronger. Every lesson I’ve been taught has given me the opportunity to learn something new about who God is. And I’m glad I had those experiences earlier on. It’s given me the opportunity to share with other young believers and let them know that God does not define us by past mistakes and failures. If we make a decision to have a personal relationship with Christ, what matters now is the present and the future. All God wants from us is to come to Him. On to the outfit, this “shirt” I’m wearing is actually a dress I’ve had for years. Apparently I’ve grown a few inches since the last time I wore it, so it’s become a weeeeeee bit too short. But, I love the asymmetric construction of the top half and knew it would be perfect paired with this white skirt and a pop of aqua! Orange and aqua are actually opposites on the color wheel, in other words, a match made in color matching heaven!!
