Busted out this pink waterfall coat after what seems like forever and realized that it would be perfect to shoot for a quick and easy Valentine’s Day look. I paired the coat with a basic midi dress and pumps for a look that can go from brunch to night out.

LOVING YOURSELF

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, this “holiday” can bring some sadness. Especially if you feel that you don’t have someone special to share it with. I think the misconception with V-Day is that it needs to be spent with a partner, but I believe that it can be spent with ANYONE that you love. Your mom, your dad, sister, brother, friends, or children.

It’s important to understand that before you are able to properly love others, you MUST love yourself. You can’t serve someone some water out of an empty pitcher. The same way you can’t pour out love to someone when you have no love with yourself. Everyone has their own separate self-love journey that they embark on at different points in their lives. There comes a moment where you realize that you are worthy of the love this world has to offer. That you are enough for yourself.

This Valentine’s Day, take some time for self-loving. Then, proceed with your usual plans with whomever.
