I just love how you expect it to be one type of weather and you end up dressing for that, like this sweater dress here. Only for the weather to change on you and now you have on way too many inches of clothing covering your body. Don’t you just love that????Earlier today I posted something on my Instagram about not feeling special and I wanted to expand on that a bit. In this age of social media, it is EXTREMELY hard to feel like you are making any impact in whatever you’re doing. Not only does it seem like everyone is doing exactly what you’re doing, but sometimes you even feel like you can’t measure up to how well they are doing it! I have this feeling, alot. There are days when I am like, “heck yea, look at me doing this thang!” And then there are other days where I’m like, “why am I even doing this again…look at her, with all her followers and influence.” If you don’t have this issue, then you might find this post a bit redundant. But if you do, my advice, KEEP PUSHING. Work hard to achieve what you are trying to achieve. But also understand that we were all given gifts that are meant to be utilized in so many unique ways. Take blogging for instance. The entire universe is blogging now. But, even with that, each blogger has their own specific way to use their gift and make an impact on this world.  Instead of looking to the next person and trying to be like them (taking inspiration is fine. Complete copycat..not cool), focus on what you’re good at in your gift. For me, I enjoy giving advice. I don’t know why. I don’t know how (maybe I got it from my mama), but I just do. So I try my best to use my platforms as a way to give real advice for those who may need it.
