Today I’m sharing my top 7 apps to get your life together in 2019! These are the apps I was using towards the tail end of 2018 much more frequently and are going with me well into 2019.
Last year alone, I apparently listed to over 11,000 hours of music on Spotify…ELEVEN THOUSAND. Most of that was attributed to listening while at work. But, I was also listening while on the go, in my car, in my house on my Google home (it syncs up with your Spotify account…so dope!), etc. and this was all through the app! It curated playlists 5 different playlists for me based on the music genres I listened to the most (Pop, 70s, Early 2000s Hip Hop & R&B, Soul, and Afrobeats). So if I can’t think of anything to listen to, I can easily play the songs in those playlists.
Your credit health is important. It’s pretty much THE determining factor in many life goals such as: leasing/buying an apartment/home, buying/leasing a car, applying for credit cards and personal loans, purchasing a new phone, etc. The Credit Karma app allows me to check my score on the fly and helps me keep track of my credit goals.
Note: Credit scores vary from time to time, so if your score is fluctuating, do not be too alarmed, unless you are actively NOT paying your bills.
If you’re trying to get into working out and want to test out different things you think you would like, ClassPass is going to be your best friend. For a fixed rate a month, you get a certain amount of credits and can use those credits towards booking a variety of different classes. This is how I was able to realize just how much I liked HIIT and cycling workouts.
Cash App and Venmo are basically, the exact same service, just by different providers. Both allow you to send money to someone (and the money is then taken from your bank account or debit card). It’s so convenient to use and is perfect for those night outs or dinners where splitting the bill would be too much of a hassle.
The Holy Bible app is the most convenient way to get the Word while on the go. It’s also helpful to use while at a church service vs. pulling out a traditional physical Bible. You get a “verse of the day” and there are a number of devotional plans to choose from.
I still stand by Qapital to this day. I mentioned it about a year ago on a blog post sharing my tips on budgeting and saving. It’s a great way to put money to the side without worrying about dipping into it. And there are so many saving options, so you’re bound to find something that works for your current goals.
Tip: Store the app on the last page of your home screen. So you forget it’s even there and you’re stacking up!
CVS
If you shop at CVS, then you have experienced the plethora of receipts that you get at checkout. which for me was quite annoying because I would forget about the receipts all together since there were SO many. Well, the app will create all your checkout coupons, digitally! So you’re saving paper waste and, it’s just much more convenient.
Canva allows me to edit things on the go such as flyers or Instagram images that I want to have a little more flair. It’s pretty intuitive and syncs with your account so whatever you did in the app, you can continue on your desktop.
If you use the WordPress platform to edit your blog posts, then you’ll fine that having this app aids in making sure that your posts look the way you want them to look in a mobile form. I always reference the app before I upload because I want to make sure that the images and texts are all displaying correctly and easily on a phone. It also gives me real time notification if I’m getting a boost in views or comments.
And those are my top apps to get your life together in 2019! I stand by all of these so hopefully you guys find it helpful too!
Until next time…
