Happy Monday people! How was your weekend?  One of my line sisters, Diahann (check out here lifestyle blog here), came out from New York to visit me here in DC this weekend so that was fun! I haven’t seen here in almost a year so just being able to chill and hang was good enough for me! We explored a little bit of the Union Station area, which I hadn’t done. I’ve been here for a year and I still haven’t seen a few of the monuments…the time, the energy, just not on my side yet to do those things. But before I leave here, I will get my picture by the White House!I wore this white structured skirt for my birthday a few months back and decided to pull it back out again for the Landmark Music Festival that I scored a free invite too thanks to my MBA mentee last Saturday. The concert was sooooooo fun! The highlight was having the opportunity to see Drake perform! I paired the skirt with a gray knit crop top and a pair of black chelsea boots for that urban festival feel. Good thing I wore these boots too! It definitely started raining after during the performances. See you all in my next post!
